Updated Meta-Analysis Studies Complete Versus Culprit-Only Revascularization

October 24, 2016—Complete revascularization of all significant coronary lesions at the time of primarypercutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) compared with culprit-only revascularization is associated with a reduction in the risk of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACEs) because of a reduction in the risk of urgent revascularization; this approach appears to be safe, with no excess major bleeding or contrast-induced nephropathy, concluded Islam Y.
