PCI May Improve Blood Flow During Exercise for Patients With Stable Coronary Artery Disease

August 21, 2018—A small study from Christopher M. Cook, MD, et al found that objective physiological responses to exercise normalized immediately after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in patients with stable coronary artery disease (SCD) and severe single-vessel stenosis. The study was published in Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC; 2018;72:970–983).

May 3, 2024—The safety and feasibility of the biomimetic DurAVR transcatheter heart valve system (Anteris Technologies) in the treatment of patients with severe symptomatic aortic stenosis (AS) were evaluated in a prospective nonrandomized, single-arm, single-center, first-in-human (FIH) study of 28 patients.

March 9, 2026—CathWorks announced the presentation of outcomes data from a cohort of more than 4,000 Medicare patients demonstrating that angiography-derived physiology (ADP) using CathWorks FFRangio resulted in similar clinical outcomes compared with invasive pressure wire-guided percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) through 2 years.
