May 6, 2026—Teleflex Incorporated announced that Jason Weidman has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer, effective June 8, 2026. Weidman is expected to join the Teleflex Board when he assumes his role as President and CEO.
According to Teleflex, Weidman joins the company from Medtronic, where he held senior leadership roles since 2006. Most recently he served as Senior Vice President and President, Coronary & Renal Denervation, and Senior Vice President and President, Aortic, Peripheral and Venous. In these positions, he oversaw significant growth and global expansion of multibillion dollar revenue operating units, including the launch of key innovations and acquisitions.
