Double Kissing Crush Technique Compared to Provisional Stenting for Bifurcation Lesions
January 30, 2017—The 5-year follow-up results from the DKCRUSH-II study were published online by Shao-Liang Chen, MD, et al in Circulation: Cardiovascular Interventions.
DKCRUSH-V Evaluates Double-Kissing Crush Two-Stent Technique in Left Main Bifurcation Lesions
October 30, 2017—Results from the large-scale randomized DKCRUSH-V trial examining the double-kissing (DK) crush two-stent technique compared with provisional stenting (PS) in the treatment of true distal bifurcation lesions of the left main (LM) artery, found that the DK crush technique was associated with a lower rate of target lesion failure at 1 year.

Two Studies Look at Predictive Value of SYNTAX Score
June 25, 2010—In the Journal of the American College of Cardiology: Cardiovascular Interventions, Young-Hak Kim, MD, et al published findings from a study aimed to validate the SYNTAX (Synergy Between Percutaneous Coronary Intervention With Taxus and Cardiac Surgery) score representing angiographic complexity after unprotected left main coronary artery (ULMCA) revascularization (2010;3:612–623).
DKCRUSH-VI Compares FFR and Angiography to Guide Provisional Side Branch Stenting
September 14, 2014—Findings from the DKCRUSH-VI trial were reported today at the 26th annual Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) scientific symposium in Washington, DC. According to the press release issued by TCT, the study showed that fractional flow reserve (FFR)-guided provisional side branch stenting of true coronary bifurcation lesions yields similar outcomes to the current standard of care.
Pulmonary Artery Denervation Studied to Treat Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension
September 18, 2022—A new sham-controlled clinical evaluation of pulmonary artery denervation (PADN) for patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) found that in addition to increasing exercise capacity, PADN improved hemodynamics and clinical outcomes during 6-month follow-up.
