Viant to Manufacture Venclose's RF Ablation Catheter for Venous Reflux Disease

February 7, 2019—Venclose Inc. and Viant announced a partnership for the manufacture of Venclose’s next-generation Venclose radiofrequency (RF) ablation catheter. The Venclose RF system is designed to close the damaged vein and restore healthy blood flow in patients with venous reflux disease. The Venclose RF system is available in the United States and Europe.

Venclose, based in San Jose, California, is a developer of treatments for chronic venous insufficiency. Viant is an ISO-certified medical device contract manufacturer with headquarters in Foxborough, Massachusetts. The Venclose system will be transferred to Viant’s manufacturing facility in Costa Rica in Q3 2019 to allow for market expansion.
