Renata Medical Raises Funds for Commercialization and Development of Pediatric Cardiovascular Technologies

August 19, 2026—Renata Medical, a privately held developer of pediatric cardiovascular technologies, announced the close of a $25 million Series D financing round.

According to the company, proceeds from the financing will support expanded commercialization efforts in the United States for the company’s Minima stent system, as well as entrance into international markets; advancement of the company's pipeline of pediatric-specific congenital heart disease technology; and support continued generation of clinical evidence for the Minima as adoption of the device grows.

The balloon-expandable Minima stent system is designed specifically for use in neonates, infants, and young children with pulmonary artery stenosis or coarctation of the aorta.

The company announced FDA approval of the Minima device in August 2024. The device was granted a New Technology Add-on Payment designation by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in August 2025.

Renata Medical stated that the financing round was led by Archimed, a global investment firm focused exclusively on health care, with participation from existing investors.
