Realize Medical and Canon USA Collaborate on Procedural Planning Technology for Interventional Medicine

September 10, 2025—Realize Medical and Canon USA, Inc. announced a strategic partnership to combine Realize Medical’s virtual reality (VR) platform with Canon’s imaging solutions for immersive and streamlined procedural planning in interventional medicine.

The initial focus of this collaboration will be in pediatric cardiology and adult structural heart disease, with plans to expand into additional interventional specialties in the future, noted the press release.

According to the companies, this collaboration combines the power of spatial computing with world-class medical imaging to accelerate safer, faster, and more precise interventions to help create the foundation for the connected, intelligent interventional lab of the future.

Realize Medical and Canon USA stated they will showcase their integrated technologies at the TCT 2025, the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics annual meeting on October 25–28 in San Francisco, California.
