Rampart IC Secures Financing to Expand Radiation Protection Portfolio

April 24, 2025—Rampart IC announced the completion of a $21.6 million Series B financing round. The Alabama-based medical technology company is a developer of radiation safety and orthopedic protection solutions for the interventional suite.

According to the company, the funding will support accelerated global commercialization of Rampart’s technologies through strategic acquisitions, product development, and clinical expansion into new service lines.

Rampart stated that its product portfolio is intended to protect health care professionals in catheterization labs and other interventional suites during procedures involving ionizing radiation. The company’s solutions are designed to provide whole-body protection to enable clinical staff to remove lead aprons.

The company advised that the financing round was led by Vensana Capital, a venture capital firm specializing in health care innovation and medical technology.
