August 7, 2026—P&F Products & Features GmbH, headquartered in Vienna, Austria, announced the acquisition of AVVie GmbH, developer of the AngelValve augmentation system, a transcatheter platform for the treatment of mitral valve disease in patients with limited or no treatment options.
AVVie, based in Vienna, was founded by Professor Werner Mohl, MD, noted the press release.
According to P&F, the combination of AVVie’s research and development infrastructure and intellectual property with P&F’s global capabilities in product development, clinical and regulatory affairs, manufacturing, and commercialization will position the company to accelerate innovation and shorten development timelines.
