Oscor Introduces the Destino Twist Steerable Guiding Sheath

October 15, 2013—Oscor Inc. (Palm Harbor, FL) announced the launch of the Destino Twist steerable guiding sheath, which features a unidirectional deflectable tip with an ergonomic steerable handle. The device has received US Food and Drug Administration 510(k) clearance and European CE Mark approval.

According to the company, the Destino Twist allows access to difficult-to-reach locations while maintaining hemostasis with Oscor SureSeal technology. It is intended to make interventional and renal applications quicker, easier, and more affordable.
