Mölnlycke Launches Biogel Radiation Protection Gloves

September 22, 2026—Mölnlycke Health Care US, LLC. announced the launch of the company’s range of Biogel radiation protection gloves, designed to reduce clinician hand exposure to scattered radiation during fluoroscopy-guided, interventional, and other image-dependent procedures.

According to the company, the gloves combine Mölnlycke’s tungsten and polyisoprene formulation for radiation attenuation with the fit, comfort, and tactile sensitivity of surgical gloves.

The company’s range of Biogel radiation protection gloves has FDA 510(k) clearance for direct patient contact and is intended for surgeons and clinicians working in environments where radiation exposure to the hands is a routine element of care delivery, noted the press release.
