Merit Medical’s PreludeSync EZ Radial Compression Device Launched in United States

November 21, 2022—Merit Medical Systems, Inc. announced the commercial release of the PreludeSync EZ radial compression device in the United States.

According to the company, the new device assists in achieving access site patent hemostasis after radial artery access procedures. The device features a cinch-style wristband that supports controlled and precise two-handed placement. A large window provides clear visibility to further help with precise placement. The PreludeSync EZ is designed to provide a simplified alternative to a two-strap compression band.

PreludeSync EZ complements Merit’s radial portfolio of products, including the Prelude Ideal, a thin-walled hydrophilic sheath noted the company.
