FastWave Secures Funding for IVL Systems for Cardiovascular Calcium Treatment

September 6, 2023—FastWave Medical Inc., a medical device company incubated by Big Sky Biomedical LLC partners, announced the closure of an oversubscribed multimillion dollar private financing.

The capital will support the continued development of FastWave’s intravascular lithotripsy (IVL) systems for calcific artery disease, propelling the company’s key preclinical and clinical initiatives. Investors in the private financing included notable physician/key opinion leaders (KOLs) and medical device industry stakeholders.
