Abbott Vascular to Distribute Roxwood Medical's Devices in the United States

July 25, 2017—Roxwood Medical Inc. announced it has entered into an exclusive agreement with Abbott Vascular for distribution of Roxwood products in the United States.

According to the company, Roxwood's anchoring catheters (CenterCross Ultra, MultiCross) and microcatheters (MicroCross) offer minimally invasive platforms for physicians to percutaneously treat chronic blockages by facilitating guidewire access across the blockage. The CenterCross Ultra and MultiCross catheters use an atraumatic nitinol anchoring mechanism to simplify guidewire access across arterial blockages. The MicroCross platform provides an ultra-low-profile microcatheter to access the most challenging coronary and peripheral anatomies with optimum guidewire support. Roxwood's products have regulatory clearance in major markets around the globe, noted the company.
